Colorado Christian University (CCU)

Colorado Christian University (CCU) isn’t just any university—it’s a faith-centered institution deeply woven into the fabric of our region, and we’re honored to shine a light on their role as a Champion Sponsor of CSCS.

Christ-Centered Education with Real-World Impact

Established in 1914, CCU has evolved from the Denver Bible Institute into a leading interdenominational Christian university serving over 10,500 students across Colorado and beyond. What truly sets CCU apart is its unwavering integration of faith and scholarship—their academic programs are firmly rooted in Christian worldview, empowering students both intellectually and spiritually.

Community-Minded and Service-Driven Culture

At CCU, education isn’t confined to the classroom. Traditional undergraduate students are required to complete at least 180 hours of community or ministry service throughout their college journey—an intentional commitment that cultivates leadership, compassion, and real-world impact.

Additionally, through CCU2theWorld, students are empowered to engage in mission trips, with over 270 short-term teams sent to more than 60 countries—expanding their global perspective while serving underprivileged communities.

A Campus for Community Engagement and Learning

CCU’s newly unveiled Armstrong Center showcases their commitment to both academic excellence and community connection. This 60,000-square-foot facility houses the School of Music, an expanded library, state-of-the-art digital media studios, a 500-seat performance theater, and the university’s first dedicated chapel—all serving both students and the broader community.

Why We’re Proud to Spotlight CCU

  • Champion Sponsor of CSCS: Their generous support helps fuel school programs, events, and enrichment for students.

  • Cultivating Servant Leaders: Students graduate with both a degree and a heart for service.

  • Global and Local Impact: From Colorado Springs to mission fields worldwide, CCU is equipping students to live out their faith.

  • A Campus That Welcomes Community: The Armstrong Center is as much a hub of the arts and faith as it is for learning.

If you’re looking for educational opportunities, meaningful service, or a place that blends academic excellence with Christian values, CCU stands as a trusted partner right here in our region.
