The CSCS Boys Golf team continues its fall season as the Lions move into the heart of the early season schedule.

Golf presents a unique kind of competition. Every round requires skill and preparation, but it also demands discipline, patience, decision making, resilience, and integrity. There is no hiding from the next shot, and there is no changing the one that came before it.

For the Lions, that creates an opportunity to compete with the Heart of a Lion every time they step onto the course.

Success is not simply about the final number on the scorecard. It is about learning to stay composed when a shot does not go as planned, making wise decisions under pressure, competing with integrity, and responding well to adversity.

That is why the focus for this season is simple:

Play the Shot in Front of You

Don’t worry about the last hole.

Don’t worry about the next hole.

Play this one well.

It is a mindset that extends far beyond golf. Excellence is built through the small decisions made over and over again. Stay disciplined. Stay present. Trust your preparation. Then step up and take the next shot.

As the season continues, we are excited to watch our Lions grow as golfers, competitors, teammates, and young men who represent Christ well both on and off the course.
