On Labor Day, a group of CSCS students gave up part of their holiday for something bigger than themselves.
They showed up to serve.
During our CSCS Community Impact Night at Pizza Ranch, these students worked incredibly hard throughout the evening, serving guests, clearing tables, jumping in wherever they were needed, and doing it all with remarkable attitudes.
But what stood out most wasn’t simply how hard they worked. It was how they represented Christ while they did it.
They were kind. They were respectful. They were joyful. They served others before themselves. And when the restaurant got busy and more was asked of them, they stepped up.
Yes, their effort helped raise necessary funds for CSCS, and we are incredibly grateful for that. But the impact of the evening went far beyond the dollars raised.
Their effort spoke volumes about the incredible young men and women they are becoming.
At CSCS, our desire is to develop students who understand that leadership isn’t simply about having a title or being the person out front. Leadership is about character. It’s about serving. It’s about recognizing the opportunities God gives us to make an impact and choosing to step into them.
Monday night, we got to watch our students do exactly that.
These students are leaders. They are world changers. And we are incredibly honored to have the opportunity to serve them, encourage them, and be part of their journey at CSCS.

Grateful for Our Local Pizza Ranch
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our local Pizza Ranch owners and their entire team for opening their doors to CSCS and giving our students this opportunity.
What makes this partnership particularly meaningful is the shared purpose behind it. Pizza Ranch’s vision is “To glorify God by positively impacting the world,” and its mission is “To give every guest a legendary experience.”
Those aren’t simply words on a wall. We saw them lived out through the generosity, encouragement, and hospitality of the Pizza Ranch team.
As a school committed to Christ-centered education and developing servant leaders, it is an honor to work alongside local business owners who are equally intentional about using what God has entrusted to them to make a difference in their community.

This was about more than pizza and more than a fundraiser.
It was an evening of community, service, leadership, and an opportunity to glorify God through the way we serve one another.
And that’s something worth celebrating.
