There is so much to celebrate in CSCS Middle School Athletics this fall.
Across the court, field, sidelines, and gridiron, our Lions have competed with determination, supported one another, grown through challenges, and represented our school community incredibly well. As postseason competition arrives, we could not be more proud of the athletes who have poured so much into their seasons.
5th & 6th Grade Volleyball Finishes Strong
Our youngest Lady Lions wrapped up an outstanding season with impressive finishes at the CSAL Tournament.
The 5th Grade Girls Volleyball team finished 3rd overall, an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the growth, effort, and teamwork these athletes displayed throughout the season.
Our 6th Grade Girls Volleyball team brought home 1st place, finishing their tournament run at the top! It was an exciting way to cap off the season and celebrate the hard work these girls have put in together.
More important than the final standings, we are proud of the way both teams competed, encouraged their teammates, and continued developing as athletes and young women.
7th & 8th Grade Lions Eye the Playoffs
The excitement continues for our 7th and 8th graders, with both Girls Volleyball and Boys Soccer positioned to earn postseason opportunities this week.
These athletes have battled throughout the season and now enter an important stretch with the opportunity to extend their seasons into the playoffs. Regardless of what the final standings bring, we are proud of the perseverance and commitment they have demonstrated along the way.
Middle School Football Headed to the Championship
Our CSCS Middle School Football team is headed to the championship game on Saturday, October 3!
Before then, the Lions will take the field against RMCA on Tuesday, September 29, with the result of that game determining the time and location of Saturday’s championship.
It has been an incredible season for this group, and we are excited to watch them finish strong and compete for a championship!
Our Lions Have an Incredible Cheer Team Behind Them
Our football team won’t be taking on this exciting week alone. Our amazing Middle School Cheer team will be right there on the sidelines, cheering our Lions on every step of the way.
These young ladies bring energy, school spirit, encouragement, and joy to our games, and their contribution to CSCS Athletics matters. Week after week, they show up ready to support their fellow athletes and help create the game-day atmosphere that makes Middle School Athletics so special.
To our Middle School cheerleaders and their incredible coaches: thank you. We are so grateful for you. You make a difference.
Proud to Be Lions
Wins, tournament finishes, playoff appearances, and championship games are exciting—and they deserve to be celebrated. But what makes us most proud is seeing our athletes grow through competition.
Every practice is an opportunity to learn discipline. Every game is an opportunity to respond to adversity. Every teammate is an opportunity to serve and encourage someone else. And every time our Lions compete, they have an opportunity to represent Jesus Christ through the way they play, lead, respond, and serve.
To all of our Middle School athletes: we are proud of you.
To our coaches: thank you for investing your time, energy, leadership, and faith into these young men and women.
And to our families and school community: thank you for filling the sidelines and stands, driving to practices and games, volunteering, cheering, and supporting our Lions throughout the season.
The future of CSCS Athletics is bright, and these young Lions are a big reason why.
Congratulations to all of our Middle School athletes. Let’s finish strong, Lions!
